They won't fix my table

I'm writing to let you know that I am very unsatisfied with the table I bought from you. It has a flaw & I was told that nothing can be done to fix it. Someone from Darvin came out & said they didn't know what it was & there was nothing they could do. I spent a lot of money I don't really have because I needed a table. I was told by your people that they were going to talk to the manufacturer. I only had the table for a couple weeks & was told I'm pretty much screwed. I am not happy with the way it was handled & intend to go to the internet & let everyone know what a bad place Darvin is.

Poor furniture quality with high prices

Bought 2 loveseats. The furniture I received wasn't the on displayed furniture in the store. They're very uncomfortable and is not holding up well. They look like they are 20 plus years old. And I'm the only one sitting on it! I've done a review on Darvins website but they only reply back to the GOOD reviews. Never will buy from them. Telling others not to buy from them.

Warranty

I am still waiting for an reply to my warranty service call from last Wednesday. Called and spoke with Ashley. Never received a call back from warranty Department to come and look aty couch. Its only 4 weeks old and needs to be fixed. Can someone please call me with an update. Thanks.

Mattress with no support causing back pain

DO NOT buy from Darvin. I purchased a mattress last month that has given me horrible back pain and they refuse to let me return it.

They have given me several excuses from they can't take returns based on comfort, they can't take a return if the item is in my home to they can't take a return due to covid. When I wrote a comment on their Facebook page warning other people they deleted my comment and then blocked me from commenting on their page. I am now out over $700 and wake up with back pain every morning since I have bought this horrible mattress from this awful company. They said they could have someone come and inspect the mattress which I submitted a request for and never heard anything and then Rebecca said that they won't take a return because it is giving me back pain.

Avoid buying anything from Darvin. You will not be able to get your money back and could potentially have horrible back pain.

I have now filed a complaint with the BBB. I wish I had read other customer's experiences before ordering from them.Mana

I've had to report numerous issues with a table I bought. None of the issue are ever covered under their warranty. This is ridiculous and a waste of money that I spent. I will never get their furniture or warranties ever again.

Horrible Customer Service

The product is good and prices are fair. Unfortunately the customer service after they get your money is 100% HORRIBLE.

Been a customer for 21 years. Just about every piece of furniture in my home is from Darvin. Recently bought a new sectional. In less than two weeks our dog ripped *** in it.

Clearly this is not covered by a warranty. We just need to know our options and how much it will cost to get our new sofa repaired.. My husband has called and left two voicemails and no response.....I sent an email to the repair department explaining issue, provided photos and copy of bill...no response. Waited 2 days and still no call or response via email.

Sent 2nd email begging for a call...Still NO response. Went to website and tried the "Chat" with an agent. Heard back and I was told to contact the repair dept. All of the information they provided was the same info I already had.

Asked for a manager to contact me....Surprise....NO RESPONSE!!! I have money to spend and Darvin will NOT be getting any more of it.

Darvin Furniture - Bad customer service
I have sent many emails! Called several times! No one cares in this company! I had white fabric chairs delivered without them being covered. They are dirty and Cannot be cleaned. They arent in stock any more and I dont want them! I spent $4500 on merchandise that wasnt taken care of on behalf of your end. Not one manager has taken the time to call us!

Unable to reach anyone to get billing problems resolved

1st-Due to problems with my online account, I requested I be taken off-line for payments, Requested paper statements were requested for mail in payments. I was taken off but appears I have been put back on again.

2nd-I did not receive a paper statement for December, but mailed in check to mailing address.

I happened to check my statement online to ensure my check was applied to my account. After not seeing my check posted, I made an automated payment to ensure my monthly payment was not past due. Days, later, my statement shows NSF for my check, which is not possible, given what I always keep in my checking account.

3rd-On hold over 1 hour with TD banking services. Finally, hung up.

Called Darvin store in Orland a number of times &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; repeatedly told I need to contact TD directly. I will never, ever do business with Darvin again if they can't handle a problem like this on behalf of a customer.

I have been responsible in making monthly payments but can't get a question answered re NSF, for a check that was never bounced. I have never bounced a check in my life.Not surDefinitiodefintion of ne Why would I start now??

Very unpleased with warranty purchase

First, let me say I have been very satisfied with Darvin for over 20 years. It is just the last few years that I have become disgruntled. The first purchase was a sofa sleeper and a dinette set(5/25/17 #78226****). The pillows on the sofa began to sag, and the dinette set chipped and became discolored. There was no resolution. My current issue is a mattress I purchase on (3/28/18 #17233****). The mattress is bulging and the underside is ripping. An inspector came out and I was told I would be contacted, I never was. Upon calling, I was told that theunder sidingg was not a manufacturer problem and the bulge was from wear and tear. This mattress cost $1,264.00. I feel something should have been done I purchased a GBS warranty for $99.00 for a 10 year protection plan

It has been a month of emailing, photos and phone calls and no forward progress on resolution of wrong item and poorly covered (fabric) item. It's next to impossible to get a live person to answer your call and if you try to go through the store's operator, she will send you to some unknown voicemail. This company is extremely frustrating and I still don't even know if the manufacturer who sent the wrong item has even been contacted at this point!

Sales man sold me the wrong furniture

When I went to buy a sofa and love seat last August or early September.I believe the sale person was more interested in his commission then really helping me.The furniture I looked at and ordered is not the same I picked out.The one I looked at the sofa cushions did not hang over the sofas ,The one they sent me the cushions hang off a lot.The color is wrong I wanted taupe I got grey which died not go good with my decoration.I called several times to complain but told I had 14 days to return .I called the next day and a few days after but when you call to complete they dont mark it down Im short and elderly the sofa is uncomfortable it hurts my back when I sit on it for a hour .Since Darwin does not want to correct this problem I will fold a complaint with the BBB and the attorney general office.I will never ever buy anything from Darwin again lousy service Sandra Tomich @comcast .net

Darvin Customer Service Center Customer # 1160**** We ordered an Inspire Q bed set from Darvin. Our sales person was Maurice. When we came in the store Maurice greeted us at the door, we told him we were interested in a QUALITY bed set. I I also wanted a sleigh bed bed with a bench seat. It wasn’t mandatory that the bedroom set had to have a bench seat, but I did want a sleigh bed. He showed us around the showroom, and he had very good.and was knowledgeable when it came to the different brands and products Darvin offered. We looked around at several sets and picked a set that was in our budget, We were interested in the Inspire Q sleigh bed set. We wanted to order the entire set in the traditional wood finish, with an extra dresser (exact set floor model). When Maurice rung our order up it took a very long time, but we were patient and didn’t complain. We were told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to receive our order and that was good. Now for the downfall… FIRST, we received our furniture on April 20,2019 the delivery people gave me a window which was fine, but they didn't call to give me any notice which was annoying, and when they delivered the furniture they were missing the mirror to the dresser!! I told the delivery guy they were missing the mirror, and he said it wasn't on the order and to still sign the paper stating they delivered the furniture. I didn't want to sign at first because the mirror was missing and it was on my paperwork and I didn't get everything I ordered. He told me to write it on the delivery paperwork that the mirror was missing. SECONDLY, when I called Darvin to complain that the mirror was missing they told me to talk to my sales person and see what happened. When I tried to contact Maurice I left the message and asked him to call me back. When he called back he called my husband (who wasn't at home for the delivery) and told him we didn’t order the mirror so that is why it wasn’t delivered. My husband explained to him he wasn't home so he could not confirm the order, he would have me contact him. My husband called me explained the conversation, I explained to him it was on the receipt of the purchase which made my husband VERY angry. He was upset that Maurice accused us of not purchasing the mirror before he checked his paperwork to verify the order BEFORE he called it was RUDE!!! I called back and asked to talk to Maurice he answered I explained to him we did order the mirror it was on the receipt! He told me he would call me back he had to verify the order. He called me back and said he was sorry he had confused us with another couple and he would resolve the situation. I told him that would be great and please ask if we could be compensated for our trouble and time and he said no problem, he will see what he can do.HE LIED.. THIRDLY, a couple of days later when I had time to put my clothes in the dresser I noticed that one of the drawers didn’t close correctly. A week or so later I called the customer service center, and explained what was happening with the drawer. The operator told me I have to go to Darvin site and go to Home Service tab and explain my problem on the website. I was very upset I told her I only had the set for a couple weeks and I don't have a complete set yet! I asked her what is her name and she told me Melinda and she said would put the problem in the computer for me. I told her thanks, she explained to me, someone would call me to set up a service call and that was ok as well. Since I thought Darvin was taking care of the problems we went to the Darvin outlet distribution center and ordered a mattress on April 27, 2019. Lori was our sales person and everything worked out GREAT!! The delivery was set for May 1,2019, this delivery went a lot better. I received a courtesy call and the delivery service told me that were about 15 minutes away it was great. Everything worked out great with the bed set. FOURTH, May 7th I called to inquire about our mirror and I was wondering what the status was, when was it going to be delivered etc. When I called they told me they didn't see the order and I would have to talk to my salesperson, again I was ANGRY!! I asked to speak to a manager because I wanted to find out what was going on. When I talked to the manager it was Karjan, she looked up my order and saw that Maurice did not put in the order. I was so MAD, I vented to her on the phone about the whole situation., she listened and apologized for the inconvenience and put a rush on the mirror. Karjan was very professional and took care of the problem. I FINALLY RECEIVED MY MIRROR on May 24,2019. FIFTH, Now back to the dresser problem…. The service guy came out looked at the drawer and said he had to order new rails and the new rails should fix the problem. It took around 4 weeks to receive that rails. On May 29th the service guy (I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) came to replace the rails. Replacing the rails didn't work, the drawer was still ajar and didn't close completely. He told me he would put in the paperwork and that I should receive a call,. I called the next day because Darvin’s service wasn’t dependable to me. I called to talk to the manager. Melinda answered the phone and told me she still had to look at the paperwork and she will get back to me. I called a few days later( the beginning of June) , to find out the status of the dresser, Melinda offered me a discount to keep the dresser or said she can order me a new dresser. I told her I want a new dresser because we just bought it ( I didn't understand why I would want to keep a dresser that was a problem and I just bought it). She told me she would order it and it would take about 4 MORE weeks to receive the dresser. I set up the delivery for the SECOND dresser for July 5th. The delivery people came and he asked me where’s the dresser going? I explained to him it was an exchange, he asked me what is wrong with, I was a little irritated by the question, but I answered the drawer was broke. He explained to me that the dresser that was on the truck was DEFECTIVE. I said ok thanks, and I told him I will call Darvin and closed the door. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I WAS ANGRY AND IRRITATED ONCE AGAIN!!! THIS WAS RIDICULOUS!! I called Melinda the next day but she wasn't in so I talked to Marge ( I believe) I wanted to know what is the procedure or protocol before you deliver furniture to a customer, because this delivery was a complete waste of my time!!!!! I was assured by Marge and Melinda that they would inspect the dresser before being delivering the dresser a THIRD time. I also talked to Karjan, AGAIN and explained the WHOLE situation and she tried to help me out. The FIFTH, problem is when I called to find out if I can be compensated for my trouble and time. I was offered a 50 gift certificate I told them I would like it applied to my credit card and they didn’t want to do it. TERRIBLE!!! After I talked to Melinda she told me the best the could do was $50.00 credit. I received $75.00. I received the credit but I don’t think it was enough to compensate the time or all the trouble we went through. This issue started in APRIL, and ended at the end of JULY. That is the reason why I think the compensation wasn’t enough the problem lasted too long. We were interested in buying two more mattresses for our home and a bench but now we have to take our business elsewhere and it is very disappointing. It is a shame you were willing to lose a life long customer over this. My family has shopped at Darvin for 20 plus years (since I was a kid) and in the past and the customer service was never this terrible. We came back to Darvin because you backed your furniture when we had a problem before (with Southern Motion sofa set) and the customer service came through and it was GREAT. NOW IT IS TERRIBLE AND YOU ARE LIKE ANY OTHER FURNITURE STORE AND IT IS SAD. Disappointed customer Janelle Davis

HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR 30 YEARS. NEVER HAD ISSUES WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE BEFORE. RECENTLY PURCHASED A SOFA AND LOVESEAT. I HAVE MEDICAL ISSUE REGARDING MY LOWER BACK. SITTING ON THIS FURNITURE FOR LONGER THAN 15 MINUTES IS VERY PAINFUL. SO I CALLED TO SEE IF I COULD EXCHANGE FOR SOMETHING ELSE. I WAS TOLD SINCE THIS WAS A "SPECIAL ORDER" (FABRIC OPTION) NOTHING CAN BE DONE!!! THEY DID OFFER THAT I COME AND PURCHASE SOMETHING ELSE AND THEY WOULD GIVE ME A "GOOD" DEAL.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I JUST SPENT $3300.00. IT'S SAD TO SAY CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS REALLY GONE DOWN HILL... MY ADVISE, GO SOMEWHERE WHERE THE COMAPNY CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS

I am more than upset, I had repair service come in to fill in chips in my bedroom set... and said that I would not accept service on a dresser cause I am requesting a new piece due to damage was produced in the making. The paint/finish on the bedroom set is as thin as one ply toilet paper... I will not be keeping this set and it was a beautiful set until it chips and the underlining is WHITE! (mind you the furniture is medium shade of brown and gray).
